Lead time | Lead Time for Different Textile Processes

What is lead time?

Lead time refers to the time between the initiation (starting) and completion (ending) of a Process/Production process. Usually we have 120 days as a garment order lead time though it may vary from the type of orders. For instance, due to the growing demand for fast fashion, we have only 1/2 weeks for fast track orders.

Lead time is the amount of time that elapses between when a process starts and its completion. Lead time is examined closely in manufacturing, supply chain management and project management, as companies want to reduce the amount of time it takes to deliver products to the market.
